Product Information
Each piece of jewelry we create is unique and a true example of intense synergy. Sue makes all the pendants using polymer clay and many of us
suspect, a little alchemy with chants.
Multiple organic substances are incorporated into the clay to produce a dazzling pallet of color and
beautiful patterns. In making custom designs for our customers we have been requested to blend very interesting components to achieve a pendant that is truly personalized.
Polymer clay and pigment are combined and processed to produce rods for multiple layers of color.
Continuously rolling incorporating pigments and preparing the clay for handling processes with each colored rod. The rods are then shaped and cut using commercial and artist designed templates. The layers of clay are joined for the basic shape or canvas. Hand carving, stamping
(again, commercial and artist created) and coils are added for design and development. The pendant is hardened with heat and sanded to a highly lustrous finish.
Dichroic glass is carefully selected by Jane sometimes using local glass artists, metal components,
objet-d'nature or a customer’s special memento or personal treasurer is adhered to the pieces.
Jane receives the pendant and begins color selection to compliment and bring out the intent and feeling of
the pendant. Multiple bead stitches (Native American) and techniques are used to create artistic and flattering complimentary designs. Natural stones, crystals, seed beads, glass beads and array of metal components are chosen to carefully finish the piece.
All pieces are strung on Soft Flex Wire to insure strength and longevity. Findings are always sterling
silver, gold or surgical steel.
Any piece selected by a customer may be customized for fit. Earrings and bracelets bring a complimentary feel
to match and always proclaim the completeness of any woman.
We have sold many pieces over the years and to date not one piece has been returned for repair. Our
customers are amazed at the construction and durability of our work and we stand behind what we create. Comments of, "where did you get that lovely piece" are frequent. Many designs have been sold as a result of seeing a piece on another person.
